Network Technician

Location: Wayne, PA

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Technician to join our team. As a Network Technician at MSP Demos, you will manage and maintain our clients' network infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will work closely with our IT support and cybersecurity teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime for clients.
  • Perform regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Assist with implementing network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Provide technical support to clients, diagnosing and resolving network-related issues remotely or on-site as needed.
  • Collaborate with the IT support team to manage network-related service requests and escalations.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures in a clear and organized manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting in a professional environment, preferably with an MSP.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
  • Proficiency with networking equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, or similar vendors.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
  • Knowledge of network security practices, including firewall configuration, VPN setup, and intrusion prevention.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar, are a plus.

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Job Description:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at MSP Demos, you will be potential clients' first point of contact. Your primary responsibility will be identifying and qualifying new leads and building a pipeline of opportunities for our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in sales, especially within the IT services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, social media, and other sales tactics.
  • Qualify inbound leads and set up meetings for the sales team.
  • Research and identify potential clients that would benefit from our MSP services.
  • Maintain and update CRM records with detailed notes on prospect interactions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and refine outreach strategies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our services and effectively communicate their value to prospects.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads.
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly lead generation targets.
  • Participate in regular sales training and development sessions to continually improve skills and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related role is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with potential clients.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and a self-starter with a passion for sales.
  • Comfortable with making cold calls and engaging in prospecting activities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar, is a plus.
  • A basic understanding of IT services and the technology industry is advantageous, but a willingness to learn is key.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
